A native of Cleveland, Ohio Greg began his career in the hair industry at the early age of 15  assisting in local Cleveland salons as a shampoo assistant. After graduating from cosmetology school in 2004, Greg spent countless hours studying the art of haircutting and coloring with the world-renowned Paul Mitchell, L’Oréal, and Vidal Sassoon Academies, studying in London, Toronto, New York City, and Los Angeles. From his travels, he acquired 10 diplomas in advanced coloring with a focus on blonding, cutting, and education, which has made him one of the top haircutting and coloring experts for textured hair in Los Angeles.

Greg has been featured on numerous platforms and stages that include the Spectrum Beauty Expo in Los Angeles, the Bronner Brothers International Hair Expo in Atlanta, Georgia, Premier Orlando International Hair Expo, The Behind the Chair Show, America Beauty Show in Chicago, and Salon International in London, UK amongst others. He also served as a National Educator for Design Essentials, representing the company nationwide, and held the title Educator of the Year in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Other brands that Greg has represented and Educated on behalf of include Hattori Hanzo Shears and Matrix Color . Currently Greg serves as one of Moroccanoil’s Global Color Ambassadors representing the company in Global Hairshows, major publications, and education events demonstrating advanced coloring techniques. 

 

In addition to Greg’s celebrity clientele list such as Toni Braxton, Tami Roman, Tiffany Haddish, Nicole Ari Parker, and Storm Reid, he has also styled hair for local NBC, FOX, and CBS television personalities, as well as various award shows, with his creations gracing red carpets at the Meta Gala 2021 and the InStyle Awards 2021. Clients say he is an excellent conversationalist as well as a visionary stylist and colorist. He prides himself on having the ability to touch lives in a positive way.
