Artist Spotlight - Michelle Ifill

You know there are some really dope artists on Instagram and other social media platforms who I feel are SO dope, but sometimes are just off in the cut chillin'.

This week I would like to highlight Michelle Ifill of Brooklyn New York. I chose Michelle, because I absolutely love her work! I also love the softness in her finish looks. From what I can see on her Instagram feed, she mainly works with natural hair and her specialty is short hair. Michelle believes in the beauty of wearing your own hair as suggested in her quote, "Wear your crown, be that Queen." I definitely agree!

This is a very encouraging statement that let's women know that they can feel comfortable wearing their own hair and still look amazing! Michelle is not just a haircut artist, she also has a lot of knowledge in hair color formulation and she produces very nice color concepts on her clients. I really believe that hair color really accentuates the style and shape of the cut. It brings it to life! It's extremely important to have comprehensive knowledge of color theory, because it's a huge asset to have in your hair care business.

Michelle Ifill has that knowledge for sure! She is located at 1534 Nostrand Avenue, in Brooklyn New York. You can see more of her work on her Instagram page @livelifemichxoxo
