Artist Spotlight - Stephen Webster

You know there are some really really dope artists on Instagram and other social media platforms who I feel are SO dope, but sometimes are just off in the Cut chillin’.
This week I would like to shine some light on Colorist Stephen Webster.
Webster's work caught my eye a little while ago and all I could say was "dannnng, he good." When observing Stephen’s work, it’s obvious to see that he knows how to do blondes very well and that blondes on textured hair is one of his specialties. His technique of color placement is so on point and gorgeous to the eye. Stephen produces beautifully executed high lift blondes on mostly medium to long textured tresses. Mastering blondes isn’t an easy thing to achieve; however, Stephen's finishes always looks flawless, soft and healthy.
The technique of choice is Balayage; which gives the hair a very natural and seamless look. I’m always looking forward to what he will post next. Not to mention what music will he be playing while he combs through his clients gorgeous finishes. Coloring textured hair so well can be a very difficult task and one that can require hours in the salon, but Stephen accomplishes it all with so much finesse and ease that I have to highlight this genius! Knowing color myself I can appreciate work that is so skillfully executed.

Stephen is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Stephen Webster is based in Atlanta, Georgia. He provides services on the East Coast both and the West Coast right here in Los Angeles.
To see more of Stephen’s work you can check him out on Instagram @stephenwebsterbeauty.
