You know there are really really dope artists on Instagram and other social media platforms who I feel are SO dope, but sometimes are just off in the CUT chillin'.đ
I would like to shine some light on Tatum Herman. Tatum who I affectionately call Tay, is such a beautiful light in this world. Having touched so many lives and fed so many souls. Tatum is an all around artist who Iâve been blessed to know for more than 7 years now. Â
I was first introduced to her when she worked as a barber at Eclectic Salon on Wilshire Blvd, in Los Angeles. We worked there together and believe it or not I actually slept on her couch a few times when I was commuting to work from Santa Ana. Yes, I was a starving artist when I first moved to LA. LOL!Â
Tay has been a working barber since her teens and is a third generation barber, her mother and Grandmother both barbers as well. Tatum is one of those ones who has done a whole bunch of noteworthy people such as 50 cent, Nipsy, Wale, pro Athletes and many more. You would just think she was your friendly neighborhood barber or comrade just coming thru to check in on you and say Hi . Always humble with so much soul.  Tay's down to earth personality can always make your heart smile. She has been such a dope barber and braider that it took a sec after first knowing her to see how dope of a painter she is! Tatum paints on canvas and has since transitioned her career in to one that encompasses not only hair but also other forms of art such as meditation and art therapy. She is so dope! It was hard to capture some of her hair work, but I did and these are pics that I feel reflect her. I love you Boo @tate_is.
