Is it just about the money?

How things go now a days you have to be on and you have to be grinding almost every day. To get ahead you have to work and work and work and most times at the cost of personal time. Given my busy schedule I find it very hard to manage both my work obligations and my personal obligations. At the same time I know that both are important. If you work too hard then you can start to resent the work thinking that you never have time for yourself, but on the other hand if you don’t work enough you may not even make enough to cultivating personal activities. So does working to much effect your personal life and if so what can you do about it?

It can’t always be about the money can it? We always hear about how you have to do thing this way for the money or achieve this status for the money, or if you don’t include this you won’t make the money. After years and years chasing the money I have finally realized that success really is the satisfaction of knowing that you're secure, you have personal time/work time balance, and you can spend with out guilt that you will be broke afterwards. I feel that if you work so hard and you become rich, you might be come rich without anyone to share it with. If you’re working and the endgame is fulfillment, I believe you’ll have much more to enjoy and the financial security that comes along with pursuing fulfillment will just be a byproduct of those efforts. Nothing like waking up in the morning knowing that you have accomplished a lot, you’ve been productive all week and you have some really dope memory making activities on the schedule for the day. You can let loose and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

We hear a lot all the time on tv, in classes, and from our friends that we need to achieve achieve achieve, but if we’re so busy all the time how can we enjoy what we’re even working for which is financial freedom and fulfillment. There is such a satisfaction in just doing your best and knowing that you did a great job. Theres this mentality that tells you if you don’t work and achieve your lame, but I beg to differ. I know so many stylists who aren’t in the limelight but are very happy and comfortable where they are at and enjoying their lives as real everyday people. There isn’t just one way to success. There are many different. Avenues to get to fulfillment in life. When we get lose paying attention to other people’s gardens we judge ourselves and feel that we are not doing enough to get ahead. There is always going to be someone doing better or worst then you so might as well pace yourself and enjoy your journey on the way towards better days ahead. If your doing the same old work day in and day out your bound to get bored with it at some point and you need to find a way to balance it out so that you can really enjoy the work you do too .To much of a good thing can be bad so even if your enjoying your work to the fullest you will have a time that comes whee you are so overloaded that what you enjoyed isn’t really feeling that great anymore. And if you grind and grind all the time you will have to continue to grind the same way over and over again to sustain what you received from grinding so much in the first place .

A good solution to not allowing the work to restrict your person time and life would just to find balance and to enjoy the pace and journey on your way to financial freedom. Make time for the things that you want to do just like making time for work. Whatever you put into something you will get that effort right back from it. Put more effort into the things that make you happy and I believe you will fins your self content and more happy than you thought you could be.
