I've always been intrigued by hair. Luckily, cosmetology was offered at my high school and I jumped on the opportunity. Once I became immersed in the program, I truly discovered how much I loooved doing hair. Everyday that I learned more about hair and the importance of using professional products, I was inspired. I was also excited and influenced by other hair artists like Vidal Sassoon and Ted Gibson.
My favorite thing to do with hair is cutting it. I love the feel of the shears in my hand while combing through the hair because I look at it like sculpting. I like cutting and mining the gardens of peoples manes.
My goal as a hairstylist is to really touch people. I want to enhance the world and improve peoples lives through their haircut. When you look good, you feel good and your motivation and performance skyrockets. Working hard by servicing everyday people and their needs is very important to me.
A lot of people underestimate the true power of a haircut. Everyone has the ability to change how they feel by simply changing their look. I discovered the power in this at young age, and I value every bit of it! #NewCutNewLife.
