You know there are some really really dope artists on Instagram and other social media platforms who I feel are SO dope, but sometimes are just off in the Cut chillin’. This week I would like to High Light the very talented Alexander Armand!
There are many different avenues that you can take in the beauty industry. You can be a salon artist like myself, you can also be an educator that represents a specific brand. You can work on locations to do freelance work or you can be like Alexander Armand and become a Celebrity Stylist working with talented actresses/models. It's a great opportunity to create looks and whole new identities for red carpets, editorials or television!
This is a stylist that I have the pleasure of knowing and have seen grow over the years as a very talented and just genuine stylist. Alexander is originally from Seattle Washington. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream to become a celerity hairstylist. He has done just that by working with names such as Naomi Campbell, Kandi Burruss, Tamar Braxton, Skai Jackson, Keri Hilson, and many others.
He is a true testament that you can follow your dreams and achieve them. I’m sure that Alex would agree that it took a lot of dedication to the craft and sacrifices along the way but the pay off can be so rewarding. Alexander works with naural textured hair, weaves, and can create some very stunning red carpet looks. No wonder he is a sought after stylist in Los Angeles when it comes to special moments and appearances. I really admire Alexander’s drive and willingness to commit to his goals. Just when it seems like you can’t do enough; BOOM you have a big opportunity! Then you have another one and soon you are on a wave that is sweeping you high up and onward towards the things that you’ve always wanted. I really wanted to highlight Alex this week, because he is so bomb and I have seen him come up and that is definitely a beautiful thing.
