Artist Spotlight -Teri Green

You know there are some really really dope artists on Instagram and other social media platforms who I feel are SO dope, but sometimes are just off in the Cut chillin’. This week I would like to HighLight Short Hair and color Artist Teri Green

When you have been in this business for a long time it can be challenging to style fresh and contemporary. So many young stylist coming out each year with creative talents and inspiring ingenuity. Teri Green is a veteran stylist who knows how to ride the waves in this industry and has become seasoned at adapting to the ever changing trends that sweep through every year. Her aesthetic is soft and chic with the occasional edge. From looking at Teri’s work I can see that she has drive and knowledge. Being an Educator herself she has comprehensive knowledge on cut and color theory. Every client that Teri posts on her IG page looks happy and very satisfied with her work. I met Teri for the first time at one of my Cutting Classes in Atlanta Georgia but we had been messaging and communicating so long over the comments of posts that it felt like I just hadn’t seen her in a while.

I have real respect for this Artist because she takes her craft serious and never stops learning even attending a cutting class of mine. To stay successful in this industry you have to continue to learn and grow and that is something Teri Green is no stranger to. Humble and very kind it was a pleasure to finally meet her as well as motivating and encouraging with her kind and affirming words for me. I’m sure it won’t be the last time I see Teri Green around and I look forward to seeing more of her beautiful work as it makes it’s way down my timeline. You can check out more of Teri’s work and follow her on IG @hair_sofab
