This day always gets me in my feelings. I am so grateful to be part of this Annual Display of Giving Back to my community.
Growing up gay in the Midwest was a challenging time, because I wasn't able to be happy just being myself. I am now in a position to help support these young kids that are going through a similar experience of discovering who they are and what it means to be their authentic self. The time spent with them means much more to me than any amount of money!!!
I will forever be a volunteer for each of you at the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
